Terms of Service

Effective date: 1 April 2026

These terms govern your use of the MANTIS IHM compliance management platform (“MANTIS”), operated by Navio Maritime OÜ (“we”, “us”).

By creating an account or using MANTIS, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

MANTIS provides software tools for managing Inventory of Hazardous Materials (IHM) compliance under maritime regulations. We provide the platform; you are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and the compliance decisions you make based on that data.

MANTIS does not provide regulatory advice. The output of the platform (survey packs, compliance reports, certificate tracking) supports your compliance process — it does not substitute for qualified maritime professionals or classification society review.

2. Your Account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Notify us immediately at security@mantis-ihm.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Acceptable Use

You may not use MANTIS to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise the platform’s security
• Resell or sublicense access to MANTIS without written agreement
• Use the platform in a way that disrupts other users’ access

4. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you enter into MANTIS. We process your data to provide the service as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data.

5. Availability and Changes

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

6. Billing and Cancellation

Free trial accounts are available for 30 days with no payment required. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Refunds for partial billing periods are not provided unless required by applicable law.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Navio Maritime OÜ is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of MANTIS.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Estonian courts.
